Hier soir, j’ai été voir le documentaire de Kevin Macdonald sur Bob Marley. Je ne peux que vous conseiller de foncer le voir !
Que vous soyez fan de reggae ou pas, ce document est vraiment très bien fait et Marley est un personnage unique et passionnant. 2h30 de documentaire qui retrace sa vie et son dévouement à Jah. Sa philosophie de vie Rastafari, qui prône la tolérance et la paix est une leçon pour tous ! Robert Nesta Marley avait “une mission” : populariser le plus possible le reggae et sa religion à travers le monde. Ce qu’il a réussi avec brio. Certaines chansons ont eu plus de succès que les Rolling Stones, pourtant l’argent n’était pas sa première préoccupation, il le distribuait d’ailleurs allégrement. L’argent ne faisant pas partie de cette mission. En accord avec la famille de Bob Marley, on y découvre des archives privées pour la première fois.
Sans aucun doute le meilleur documentaire jamais réalisé sur le sujet.
